New State Travel Advisory, Indoor Masking and Mega-Event Requirement:
In California, case rates have increased 47% and hospitalizations are up 14% since Thanksgiving. Beginning December 15, 2021, masking is required for all public indoor settings in California regardless of vaccination status. Mega event attendees must show vaccination proof or negative COVID-19 test. Also it is recommended that anyone arriving in California get tested within three to five days. For details on the new guidance, read the Dec. 13 CDPH news release. Sacramento County has had a Health Order since July 30, 2021 that requires face coverings to be worn in indoor public settings regardless of vaccination status due to COVID-19 case rates of more than 5 per 100,000.

Wear your mask in indoor public spaces. Due to a recent increase in cases, CDPH has mandated that everyone in California wear a mask in indoor public spaces. The order is in effect December 15, 2021 to January 15, 2022
July 30, 2021 Sacramento County Health Order: face coverings must be worn, regardless of vaccination status, in all Sacramento County indoor public settings.
